Privacy Policy
My Journey is designed to keep your progress photos private and under your control.

My Journey does not collect, sell, share, or transmit your personal information to the developer.
Information collection
My Journey does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics. The developer does not operate servers that receive your photos, journeys, settings, or usage information.
Photos and journey data
Photos, thumbnails, journey details, and app settings are stored locally in the app’s storage on your device. The app does not provide cloud syncing or upload this content to developer-controlled servers.
Your device and Apple services may handle device backups according to your device settings and Apple’s terms. The developer cannot access those backups.
Camera and notifications
- Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a progress photo.
- Notification permission is optional and is used only to schedule photo reminders you request.
- Camera images and reminder settings are processed on your device and are not sent to the developer.
You can change these permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
Exports and sharing
GIF and MP4 exports are created on your device. Nothing is shared unless you choose a destination through the system share sheet. A destination you select may process the exported file under its own privacy policy.
In-app purchases
The optional Remove Watermark purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment card or billing details. Apple may process purchase information according to the Apple Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Your content remains on your device until you delete an entry, delete a journey, or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to any device backups controlled through your Apple account. Because no copy is held on developer servers, the developer has no account or server-held personal data to retrieve or delete.
Children’s privacy
My Journey does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
Policy changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will be revised. App Store privacy disclosures will also be updated when required.
